Our story
Marcio started MR Construction Revolutions in Wakefield in 2008, and he still owns and runs it. Wakefield is home base, and the work reaches out from there to Reading, Stoneham, Melrose, Malden, Medford, Woburn, Winchester, Burlington, Lexington, Somerville, Cambridge, Lowell and Boston, and over the state line to Nashua, New Hampshire.
The work is kitchen and bathroom remodeling, interior and exterior painting, drywall installation and repair, plastering, basement finishing, flooring, carpentry and decks. Licensed plumbers and electricians handle their parts of a job, and we coordinate them so you deal with one contractor.
Every job runs the same way. You call or send the form, we come out for a free in-home estimate, and you get a written price and a start-to-finish schedule before you commit to anything. We help you choose tile, cabinets, paint colors and finishes, and we tell you which permits your town needs. During the work you know who is in your home each day, any change is priced before it happens, and the job ends with a walkthrough together.
What customers mention in their Google reviews is mostly the part around the work: floors covered during a backsplash install and the kitchen cleaned up after, bedroom furniture protected from dust during a master bath remodel, Marcio keeping them informed and handling changes to the scope without trouble, old walls prepped properly before paint, and small extra repairs taken care of while the crew was there.
How we work
The price in writing first
You get a clear written price and a start-to-finish timeline before you commit to anything, and the estimate itself is free.
Changes priced before they happen
If you change your mind mid-project or we find something behind a wall, you hear what it costs before the work is done.
You know who is in your home
One crew, kept on schedule, so you are not guessing who will show up at your door each morning.
Done when you say it's done
We walk the finished job with you and fix anything you are not happy with before we call it finished.

Reviews From Our Satisfied Clients
Marcio scheduled a visit to my home and we went through the renovation I was looking to have done in our master bathroom. After providing us the final estimate we scheduled demo and his team arrived promptly to start their work. They did a good job covering the bedroom items to avoid dust which helped quite a bit. During construction Marcio kept me informed the entire time and we made a couple minor changes to the scope of work without any issues… Overall, Marcio was a great contractor to work with at a good price.
Marcio was WONDERFUL! He guided us through the process of choosing the best paint option for our fence. There was open communication throughout the process and flexibility in scheduling. Our end result is just as we were hoping for, a power washed and beautifully painted black fence… We will be reaching out to Marcio for all future house projects!
Excellent work installing my kitchen backsplash. Good attention to detail. They covered my floors for protection and thoroughly cleaned up when done. I will also have him do my 1/2 bath as well.
Marcio and his team did an amazing job with our bathroom remodel! Very detailed oriented and went above and beyond! Also did a great job installing some doors for us! I highly recommend them!
The drywall work they did in our living room was flawless. The walls are smooth, and they even helped us with some minor repairs we hadn’t noticed before. Great service and very affordable.
Marcio and his team are the real deal! Super professional and quick turnaround for services provided. Will definitely do business with again in the future and will likely use them for all my remodeling needs. Thanks again MR Construction Revolutions for my bathroom remodeling.
